Silverwood Women in Mission

Silverwood Mennonite Women in Mission encourages women to nurture their lives in Christ, study the Bible, utilize their gifts, hear each other, and engage in mission and service.

Thank you to everyone who helped fill and sew medical and health kits for our mission project.
Your gifts of time, talent and money will bless many children overseas.

Annual dues to Mennonite Women are $30.00 a year per member, which includes $10 per member to the Central District Conference. Some of the other things that the dues cover include:

International Women's Fund for church leadership training
Annual Bible Study Guides
Africa Inter-Mennonite Mission (AIMM)
AMBS Scholarships
Ministry Inquiry Program
Mennonite Mission Network
Camp Friedenswald

If you are not able to attend the meetings you are encouraged to join Mennonite Women USA with a yearly membership of $20.00 Also, if you would like to receive the MW magazine, please pay an additional $10.00. You may give your money, payable to SW Mennonite Women in Mission , to Sally Miller or Adele Reichert.

Our own fundraisers, the Strawberry Fest, the Garage Sale, and monthly offerings go to support missions and local projects in our church and community.
